Are your Candidates Pro-Gun or Anti-Gun?
Dear Fellow Patriot,

If ever there was a time for gun owners to charge up a hill together to reclaim the high ground from our anti-gun enemies and their sympathizers, it's right now.

And the good news is one of your candidates for Congress, Bryan Smith, has pledged his 100% support for your right to keep and bear arms
.

But unfortunately, I've got also bad news for you.

One of your Congressman, Mike Simpson, has a long history of supporting and voting for gun control.

Congressman Mike Simpson also refused to return his National Association for Gun Rights candidate survey.

More on that in a minute.

Now, sometimes folks assume that just because a politician is a Republican that he is a solid supporter of the Second Amendment.

I hope you don't make that mistake with Congressman Simpson.

You see, you and I were just one or two votes away from losing our right to keep and bear arms during last year's gun control fight in Congress.

The 2013 debate over the Feinstein "assault weapons" ban and the Toomey-Manchin "Expanded Background Check" bill were the largest assaults on our Second Amendment rights in nearly twenty five years.

And it was weak-kneed Republicans who very nearly gave the green light to this key part of Barack Obama's anti-gun agenda.

Sixteen of them voted against the filibuster led by pro-gun U.S. Senators Rand Paul and Mike Lee in order to allow the gun control debate to move forward in the U.S. Senate.

We very nearly lost this battle, and we're still playing defense today.

In the House, radical California gun-grabber Nancy Pelosi is foaming at the mouth to ram Obama's gun-grabbing agenda through any way she can.

To do that, Pelosi is even hoping to court support from some Republicans.

And believe me, some Republicans are eager to "sound reasonable" to the elite media by supporting "expanded" or so-called "universal" background check and gun registration schemes.

Some are even working to funnel more law-abiding Americans into the Brady National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) using "Mental Health" as an excuse to strip you of your gun rights -- for life -- without due process.

That's why it's so important that gun owners cut through the hype to find out where candidates for office really stand on your Second Amendment rights.

And that's why the National Association for Gun Rights surveys every candidate for federal office with very specific questions about your gun rights.

Now the good news is, Republican candidate Bryan Smith has made it clear he will NEVER cooperate with any of Pelosi or Obama's anti-gun schemes.

Smith is running for the Republican nomination.

Bryan Smith not only returned his National Association for Gun Rights Federal Candidate Survey 100% pro-gun, he's enthusiastically promised to do everything he can as a U.S. Congressman to:

*** Restore the Second Amendment rights of all Americans by working to abolish every unconstitutional federal gun law currently on the books;

*** De-fund and defeat the United Nations' "Small Arms Treaty." Bryan Smith opposes all attempts by the U.N. to regulate firearms, and pledges to fight to cut taxpayer funding that props up the U.N.'s anti-gun agenda;

*** Block all efforts by the federal government to further infringe on the gun rights of the people of the state of Idaho;

*** Stop any attempt by Barack Obama or Dianne Feinstein to reinstate the so-called "assault weapons ban" aimed at banning as many ordinary semi-automatic firearms as possible;

*** Block a National Gun Registry. Anti-gunners are screaming for a way to track every gun owner, but Bryan Smith will oppose each and every one of the gun-grabbers schemes to dump the names of gun owners into a national gun registry.

But the contrast between Bryan Smith and his primary opponents couldn't be more stark.

Republican Congressman Mike Simpson Refused to return his National Association for Gun Rights candidate survey.

He also refused to return his legislative leadership pledge.

And it makes sense why.

Mike Simpson has been voting for draconian new gun control from the moment he took office.

Specifically, he voted for a bill that would have cracked down on gun shows across the country and registered more law-abiding gun owners.1

He also voted for a bill that would have slapped more gun buyers and sellers under a microscope in an effort to outlaw more otherwise lawful gun sales over technicalities. 2

So, what other anti-gun laws would Mike Simpson vote for?

Would Mike Simpson support funneling more law-abiding Americans into the Brady National Instant Criminal Background Check (NICS) System, using "Mental Health" as an excuse to strip you of your gun rights -- for life -- without due process?

With so much at stake, I'm really going above-and-beyond to make sure every person in Idaho who cares about the Second Amendment knows exactly where their candidates stand.

That's why I'm counting on good folks like you to help turn up the heat on candidates like Congressman Mike Simpson who refused to answer specific questions about your Second Amendment rights.

But there isn't much time. Here's what you can do to help:

1.) Thank Republican candidate Bryan Smith for pledging his 100% support and leadership for your right to keep and bear arms;

2.) Give Mike Simpson an earful! Insist he answer the National Association for Gun Rights Candidate Survey and apologize for his past anti-gun votes.

And, if you can afford to, please also consider chipping in $15 or $20 using the form below so your National Association for Gun Rights can inform as many liberty loving gun owners in Idaho as possible.
