Banner - End the Post Office Gun Ban
Imagine, it’s late at night, you’re alone and you’re heading into the Post Office to check your mail, only to be confronted by a masked assailant with a knife.

Right now, if you had your firearm with you to defend yourself, you’d become a felon!

Thankfully, pro-gun U.S. Senator Rand Paul proposed an amendment last week to end the Post Office Gun Ban once and for all.

Unfortunately, several anti-gunners on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs are fighting tooth-and-nail against Senator Paul's proposal.

They’d rather prevent law-abiding citizens like you from exercising your right to self-defense in as many places as possible.

As you know, so-called “gun-free” zones -- like the Post Office -- don’t work.

Since the ban was imposed by Postal bureaucrats in 1972, there have been at least 21 documented incidents and over 40 lives lost.

This ban has simply made the Post Office less safe for law-abiding citizens like you.

But the good news is that the committee is scheduled to revisit the legislation tomorrow.

Please contact the following swing Senators and urge them to stop stalling the Paul Amendment, and immediately vote to end the unconstitutional and deadly Post Office Gun Ban once and for all.
