According to Senator Joe Manchin, the majority of West Virginians support full-scale national gun registration.

That’s right, Senator Manchin says YOU support Barack Obama’s anti-gun agenda.

He even recently told the anti-gun national media YOU support handing the name of every gun owner in America over to Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder!

I think Joe Manchin is wrong -- dead wrong -- and I’m counting on you to help send him that message.

That’s why it’s vital you sign the petition below to Senator Joe Manchin and make it 100% crystal clear you DO NOT support Obama’s gun control schemes.

As I’m sure you remember, when running for U.S. Senate Joe Manchin promised West Virginia voters he would defend the Second Amendment -- even running TV ads featuring himself shooting a rifle.

But today, in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, Joe Manchin is singing a different tune.

He’s joined Barack Obama in exploiting tragedy to push for massive new gun control schemes.

Worse yet -- he claims he’s doing so with YOUR support.

My friend, if you’re like me, you’ve had enough of politicians claiming they support the Second Amendment when asking for your vote -- only to turn their backs on gun owners once safely in office.

That’s why I’m counting on your IMMEDIATE action.

You see, the gun-grabbers in Washington, D.C. are going for broke, doing everything they can to "cash in" on the recent tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut.

They’re targeting EVERYTHING -- rifles, shotguns and even handguns.

Nothing is off the table.

Whether it’s banning magazines holding more than 10 rounds, banning firearms with a detachable magazine and at least one "military characteristic," or declaring entire classes of people unfit to possess firearms for "mental health issues," Dianne Feinstein is going all-out to destroy the Second Amendment.

But the really bad news is, unlike the Feinstein Gun Ban, Manchin’s schemes may sound innocent.

In each one, the devil is in the details -- and not one of them could have stopped the recent tragedy in Connecticut:

*** A so-called "Background Check" National Gun Registration Scheme.

That means EVERY private transfer of a firearm will need a "background check" -- even just passing a hunting rifle down to your son.  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the only way to enforce this scheme is to keep records of every gun and gun owner in America.

And everyone knows what firearms registration leads to . . . Firearms confiscation!

*** Legislation "closing" the so-called "Gun Show Loophole."

As part of their plan to make sure EVERY gun in America is tracked and traced, gun-grabbers are going after gun shows to demonize all private firearms transfers;

*** A National Mental Health Database.

This radical scheme is designed to give federal bureaucrats the power to strip law-abiding citizens, even our nation’s military veterans, of their rights without trial or a conviction by a jury of their peers.

Even if federal officials promised to destroy every record, would you ever trust Barack Obama or Eric Holder to do so?

This is the same Barack Obama and Eric Holder who allowed guns to walk across the border and into the hands of dangerous Mexican drug lords!

Time and again anti-gun state and federal bureaucrats have been caught keeping records of the checks, including the name of the gun owner and the specific gun purchased.

That’s why I’m counting on you to help turn Senator Manchin around before it’s too late.

Here’s what you can do to help:

>>> Sign the Petition below, or better yet, write a personal letter to Senator Joe Manchin.  DEMAND he stop supporting gun control, and instead make good on his campaign promises to protect the Second Amendment;

>>> Share this page on Facebook with pro-gun friends, relatives and business associates so they can sign the petition as well;

>>> Pick up the phone and call Senator Manchin at (202) 224-3954 and give him a piece of your mind.

The National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) is leading the charge to defeat Senator Joe Manchin’s gun control schemes.

While some other gun groups treat Senator Manchin with kid gloves (because perhaps they are embarassed by the "A" rating they foolishly gave him), NAGR is working to prove to Senator Manchin that West Virginians gun rights are more important than his grandstanding in the media.

But without IMMEDIATE action, I’m afraid Senator Manchin will follow through and take away your God-given right to keep and bear arms.

Don’t let Senator Joe Manchin get away with telling the anti-gun national media you support gun registration schemes and outright gun bans.

Help send Joe Manchin a loud-and-clear message that West Virginians overwhelmingly support our Second Amendment freedoms.
