During his tenure in the U.S. Senate Harry Reid has repeatedly voted against your right to keep and bear arms:

* Reid voted three times to prohibit the private sale of firearms at gun shows.

- March 2nd, 2004, Reid voted for the McCain amendment to a gun liability bill (S. 1805).

- May 12th & 13th, 1999, Reid voted against tabling the Hatch and Lautenberg amendments to an anti-gun juvenile crime bill (S. 254).

* Reid voted twice to require citizens to lock up their self-defense firearms with deadly trigger locks.

- February 26th, 2004 and July 28th, 2005, Reid voted for amendments S. 1805 and S. 397 respectively.

* Reid voted numerous times to muzzle gun owners’ free speech rights.

* Reid voted to waste taxpayer dollars on a study to determine the feasibility of banning certain kinds of ammunition, including popular hunting rounds like the .30-06.

- March 2nd, 2004, Reid voted for the Ammunition Ban Study amendment to S. 1805.

* Reid voted in favor of banning young adults from even handling their parent’s semi-automatic firearms.

- May 13th, 1999, Reid voted for the Young Adult Gun Ban Bill (S. 254).

* Reid voted for waiting periods and the Brady background check establishing de facto gun registration.

As you can see, Harry Reid isn’t a “trusted vote on gun issues.”  In fact, he’s very poor.

That’s why it’s vital you sign the petition to put the heat on Senator Harry Reid.
