Some Republican lawmakers in the U.S. House are openly working to strike some sort of bi-partisan “deal” with the Democrat minority on gun control.

Unfortunately, Capitol Hill experts warn that newly elected House Speaker Paul Ryan has shown signs he could be persuaded to bring a gun control "deal" to the House Floor for a vote if it makes it out of committee.

No More Gun Control Emergency Fax Petition

To House Leadership and
Members of the House Judiciary Committee
Whereas: The gun-grabbers are exploiting the recent murderous acts by criminals to further their anti-gun agenda; and
Whereas: All empirical evidence, as well as plain old common sense, shows that gun control does not prevent violence and only leaves law-abiding citizens defenseless against it; and
Whereas: The Second Amendment clearly states "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed;" and
Whereas: Pro-gun Americans like me strongly oppose new unconstitutional gun control schemes and will be paying close attention to how members of Congress vote;
Therefore: I urge you oppose, vote against, and do everything in your power to block any gun control "deal" from advancing out of committee, including but not limited to expanding the National Instant Gun Registration System, banning certain types of common rifle and pistol ammunition, or bans and/or Federal registration of any firearms.
