In a last ditch effort to implement gun control before he leaves office, President Obama is trying to strip the gun rights from MILLIONS of senior citizens!
Tying the Social Security system to the anti-gun Brady-NICS database would prevent as many as 4.2 MILLION law abiding citizens from owning guns without trial or due process.
It would be the largest gun grab in our country's history!

Stop Obama's Social Security Gun Ban!
Emergency petition to my elected lawmakers and the Social Security Administration:

The right to keep-and-bear arms is protected by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which clearly states "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed;" and,

| Whereas: |
The proposed "Social Security Gun Ban" would be the largest gun ban in U.S. history.
75,000 law-abiding senior citizens, dependents and surviving spouses per year, or up to 4.2 MILLION people would lose their right to purchase or possess a firearm without a court trial or due process; and,

If enacted, it would subject seniors -- most of whom do not have the resources to mount a legal defense -- to the outrageous bureaucratic processes that have already resulted in 260,000 veterans losing their right to bear arms; and

This is an unconstitutional gun ban being imposed by executive fiat of a lame-duck President without Congressional authorization.
President Obama is NOT judge and jury when it comes to the Second Amendment.

I urge you to immediately put a halt to all plans to implement the proposed “Social Security Gun Ban” by opposing Docket No. SSA-2016-001.
I also urge Congress to immediately act to block the implementation of “Social Security Gun Ban.”
